Dead Cells is an award-winning "roguevania" that blends roguelike permadeath with Metroidvania exploration. You play as a headless prisoner awakening on a mysterious island plagued by a deadly disease. Each run involves brutal combat, precise platforming, and discovering new weapons, skills, and shortcuts. Dying resets your progress but lets you permanently unlock upgrades with collected cells.
